Meet the Curius Team
"... fantastically knowledgeable, informative, fun and sensitive guides!"

Claire
Chief Experience Organiser
Claire is a volunteer running coach who loves introducing people to running. She also loves introducing people to the trails and views along Hadrian's Wall. Along the way Claire enjoys introducing visitors to folks they meet along the way, stopping to take in the stunning Northumberland countryside and sharing trails snacks and a cheeky drink atop a crag.
When she's not wearing a tutu on the trails, Claire loves buying books (she’ll one day find time to read), trying her hand at different crafts (still hoping to discover a hidden talent) and sampling microbrews (Ale Caesar, anyone?). Her favorite quote, "Beginnings are usually scary, endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the middle that counts," by Steven Rogers, captures her approach to life and adventure.
Claire’s energy, curiosity and love for the outdoors ensure that every walk with her is a memorable experience, blending discovery, share stories and laughter.
Katie
Head Tour Guide
Yorkshire-born Katie ventured to the ‘proper North’ in 2002 and quickly fell for its sweeping horizons, rugged landscapes, and rich history. Now a proud local, she’s on a mission to share her love for the area with anyone ready for an unforgettable journey along Hadrian’s Wall.
With a sports coaching background and experience as a run leader, Katie brings energy and encouragement to the trails, welcoming walkers of all abilities. A lover of a good challenge, she’s especially passionate about ultra races (and let’s be honest, the epic snack stations along the way!).
When she’s not kicking up dirt in her trail shoes, Katie’s probably two-stepping in her cowboy boots to country tunes, always primed for her next adventure. Katie's favorite country song is "She's in Love with the Boy" by Trisha Yearwood.
